The Society brings together educators, business, and community leaders to create and sustain a great variety of experiential learning opportunities, such as internships, micro-experiences, service learning, global experience, and more. The Society's vision is to expand the perspectives shared and voices heard throughout our growing profession so that they are representative of the practitioners and students in the field of experiential education. we strive to improve access to premier professional development, and center the expertise of Black, Latino/a/x, Indigenous, Asian, Pacific Islander, LGBTQ and international experiential educators in SEE's committees, initiatives, and leadership opportunities. SEE is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors representing diverse K-12 and higher education settings, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies.
