About SEEThe Society for Experiential Education (SEE) is a nonprofit membership association of educators, businesses, and community leaders. Founded in 1971, SEE also serves as a national resource center for the development and improvement of experiential education programs nationwide. The society acts as the standard-bearer for the field, having created the Eight Principles of Good Practice for All experiential Learning Activities. Then SEE Annual Conference, Committees and professional development offerings provide members with opportunities to engage with one another and build the scholarship of the field while the Experiential Education Academy supports individual and institutional understanding of SEE’s Principles and the Experiential Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (ELTHE) Journal provides free and cutting-edge research.
